For incoming middle school to high school students of any academic level. Writing Camp: Love to write? Not sure if you love to write, but want to practice your writing skills? Then this is the camp for you! Join me for one week of exploring writing genres, reinforcing good writing skills, practicing editing and revising, and having fun with creative writing prompts. Whether your are a skilled writer needing some enrichment, or a student who needs to practice writing skills, I have the resources to meet your needs. At the end of the week, each student will select a writing piece to polish and publish on our camp website to showcase their hard work. Reading Camp: Bring a novel of your choice and enjoy a week of reading, discussing, and exploring your book. During this book club, we will practice annotating text for literary devices, themes, and character development. We will also engage in student-led discussion activities, with plenty of creativity and fun as well. Whether you are looking to brush-up on your skills before the next school year, or looking for a fun place to discuss novels with friends, this is the camp for you!
